So today VWFC2 signed a two 16yr olds and a 17yr old. #progress

I did a quick scan of the English and German U21 teams (U20). Many (if not most) of them had had around 100 professional games (against men) before their 21st birthday. That's exactly where we need to be if we ever hope to compete internationally. I hope these kids fight for spots (are not handed them) and eventually get to that point, and I hope this a is sign of things to come.

Watching Kadin Chung over the last couple games, he looks mighty impressive at RB. Calm and cool in possession. Gets forward lots but not so much as to forget his defensive responsibilities. Lots of pace to allow him to track back quickly should he lose his man.

If he continues to develop in the next 2-3 years we may have an actual RB for consideration with the national team. As far as I know Chung has played RB for the U-17 and U-20 teams and WFC2

Soon we will have depth at RB with Chung and Aird looking good and it will be our LB that is thin. De Jong is 29 and "might" already be in decline, Morgan likely will never stand out and we still do not know how Adekugbe will prove his worth.

At least we have "adequate" coverage at LB for the foreseeable future in Morgan, and hope for more with Adekugbe. It's mind boggling how long we have gone without a true RB

In fairness Eddie Edwards is an RB but has been overlooked by Floro throughout his tenure.
