Olivier Occean

Recommended Posts

They went with him early on, was weak and then started 2 in the last 16 matchdays which were the last two games when there was nothing left to play for and probably also as a goodbye after multiple good years with the club

He played in 6 of the last 7 matches?!  He missed time in September because of an injury and was limited afterwards because of that. How many of his matches this year did you watch?

Great, he was stilled tied for 4th in appearances. Doesn't exactly scream impending retirement.

yeah, OO's always been the kind of striker who's contribution isn't just measured in goals.

Good for Occean. How long is his contract?

The CPL (likely a club) should be looking to bring him in if he wishes to continue...even another year or two as player coach should he be able to maintain his fitness and effectiveness

A Quebec CPL club would be lovely.

I could see him becoming an assistant to Stephen Hart in Halifax....

Facking hell... Call him up! Call him up!

In the past sure, but right now WIth David and Cavallini (and heck, even Larin), he would not see the field and would take a spot away from another position of need.

Would LOVE to see him get involved with CPL however, If not as a player then in a coaching capacity, there is SO MUCH a guy with the experience as his could give in order to help grow the league and sport in the country.

It wasn’t that long ago that we would be seriously debating whether to call in a 38 year old that has scored 6 goals in 18 top flight Norwegian games.

Give me a quick refresher of who they were/where they were playing at the time of their age?

Tomasz Radzinski - Belgian first division.  Personally I thought he should have been called for 2014 WCQ as his stats were impressive and he was always class.
