^^^ WE had permission to hang some banners too but we just didn't have anything big enough on hand here. That's why we went with all the provincial flags and lots of Maple Leaf flags. I think the LOC is more tolerant when the banner is behind the goal line. Putting a banner over the railing along the sidelines is probably verboten, especially if it covers up the FIFA scrim.

nigeria played a huge game and well deserved draw, maybe they deserved even a win. sweden didn`t look good fitness wise, a lot of players were cramping in the last 20 mins.. really surprised me, and what surprises me more, that canada played a 0:0 against nigeria, or am i wrong? before the WWC?!

[ 1 ] USA vs Sweden : I felt like I just rewatched the CANWNT vs New Zealand game.

[ 2 ] Great win by the Matildas over Nigeria. Australia is really playing some good looking soccer. It's a credit to all the player and youth development they get from the Australian W- League. In fact, the Austrialian U 20s (Young Matildas)  beat the Thailand women's national team ( playing in Group B of the WWC) by a 3 - 0 score in May. Look for the Maltildas to be a force in the next cycle.

[ 3 ] Nigerian player's elbow to Sam Kerr's face is definitely a  red card.

Is it me or the turf at BC Place with all its sand looks like a poorly cared grass in need of watering.

The BC Place turf is brand new, but still looks the worst of the 6 stadiums in use in this tournament. Though I don't think it played any differently.
