madmonte
Time for predictions. The first round was easy, I was 7/7 and I wasn't the only one that was. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines vs Guyana Antigua and Barbuda vs Saint Lucia Puerto Rico vs Grenada Dominica vs Canada Dominican Republic vs Belize Guatemala vs Bermuda Aruba vs Barbados Saint Kitts and Nevis vs El Salvador Curacao vs Cuba Nicaragua vs Suriname This round is MUCH trickier, especially given the situation with Suriname, nevertheless bolded are my picks. Your turn!

A_Gagne
What's the Suriname situation? Also, what's with them even being in CONCACAF in the first place. Isn't it a SOUTH American country?

grande
Someone more knowlegable than me on topics like these explained it to me once. Apparently, culturally, Guyana and Suriname are much more "Caribbean" than "South American," so they play in the Caribbean tournaments (it's the same for rugby as well). Alex
St vag, Antigua, Puerto Rico, Canada, Belize, Guatemala, Barbados, El Salvador, Cuba, Suriname. The draw for round three is less than two months away! Another prediction, Larin bags three (3) goals in the two games. Then julian will play both games and take over the caps record later this year. Yes, but what's the deal with them potentially getting an influx of Dutch players or something like that?

Julian still looks good, saw him play last night and as expected he's a bit slower and was hanging back more but there's still gas in the tank. I watched the game as well. Julian is still a very good player and one of our top midfielders no doubt.
db707
First game of the round tomorrow in Nicaragua. Suriname appears to be bringing domestic players with one exception. Curacao's side is based overseas (mostly Netherlands) with a couple of exceptions. I made some heart picks anyway (Bermuda) so I fully expect to be trailing the pack on these picks! CanadianSoccerFan
Curacao has won both of their warm up matches. The first was a 3-2 friendly win in the Netherlands against an unofficial Suriname side comprising Dutch based professionals currently ineligible due to the country's dual citizenship policy. Yesterday they won 1-0 away at Stephen Hart's Trinidad.

Toje
I am assuming the dual citizenship thing didn't go through. No it didn't. The roster for the game against Nicaragua had players only from the local league. Suriname played a friendly against Curacao on May 20th in the Netherlands and all players were from Europe.
