No. Even if I'm open to Occéan coming back to the national team, I'm not willing to forfeit our WCQ spot because we played a suspended player.

Obviously not while hes still suspended.....

I meant this summer in general, gold cup especially

Piette played the full match for Deportivo Fabril in their 2-0 win against Durango.

They are moving on to the second round  of the Tercera Division playoffs 3-2 oin aggregate.

The draw will happen at 17:30 Madrid time today (8:30 for those on the West Coast, 11:30 for those in the centre of the universe). As it has been said before, Piette won't play in those games because he'll be with the senior team, though he could play in the third and final round if Fabril is able to dispose of its next opponent.

^ Piette's team has been drawn against UD San Pedro who are a fellow Tercera division club. Their first game is away at San Pedro on Sunday. Piette will in fact play the first leg of the series before travelling to Florida on Monday:

"Manuel Mosquera recupera al capitán Adrián Martínez y además contará en la ida con Sam Piette, que solicitó a la selección canadiense retrasar su incorporación al próximo lunes."
