MattBinYYC
The march is pretty much impossible if we need to park somewhere yeah?
Sport Shaman
^^^ Parking near the stadium will be pretty much impossible. However, you can park near the east end of Borden Park (where the march starts) by going down 112 Avenue and then turning north on 73 St (just west of Wayne Gretzky Drive) where you will find parking that is part of Northlands Park. It will be busy there as the Edmonton Corporate Challenge wraps up there that day but it should be do-able by the afternoon. The march will leave at 2:30 PM sharp since the City of Edmonton has arranged for Traffic dept and Police to block off intersections for us as we head to the stadium. Sport Shaman
Update to Bus Departure Time From the South Side Pint After some further discussions with the City of Edmonton, it is evident that we will need to leave the South Side Pint earlier than initially forecasted. As noted above, the march has to start promptly at 2:30 Pm and we need to have ourselves and the "Voyageurs in Training" organized with choir practice before that. Also due to possible traffic concerns in the Stadium/Borden Park area it's better to be safe than sorry. Busses will arrive at the Pint around 1:00 Pm and we expect to depart around 1:30 Pm so make sure you are there in time, please.
MattBinYYC
What I was saying was, is it possible to park at the pint, take the bus with you guys to Borden and then if worse comes to worse cab it back to the pint whyte?
Sport Shaman
^^^ I thought I answered this same question for you in the Visitor Info thread on May 27th. Yes to parking at or near Pint. Yes to getting on the bus if you are at the pregame by 1:30 and yes to whatever later transport arrangements you make whether it is ETS or taxi. Shame that it can't be 1:40pm so we can finish the first half of the champions league final! Thanks again for all your effort into setting all of this up.
