LeoH037
More and more I'm starting to believe that Atiba still has one more cycle of WCQ in him. Not necessarily as a stater, but as long as he keeps performing at the highest level he will always have something to give. He'd brings much experience and leadership to a young CMNT squad. dyslexic nam
I haven’t seen anything to suggest that he is declining or getting ready to pull on some warm slippers and ride into the sunset. He is playing at an elite level, has not shown any signs of slowing down, and is still among our very best players. Viva Atiba! Club Linesman
The man is a national treasure. Here’s hoping he still plays meaningful games and if he chooses not to that we can have a proper send off game when all this crap ends. cronaldo7, Strait Red, N1ckbr0wn and 4 others
Obinna
Man Hutchinson even looks super young. Doesn't look a day over 30. Also, just want to point out this is a celebration of his 200th Turkish Super Lig game. When you factor in the Turkish Cup, Europa and Champions League games he's played nearly 250 games for the club. N1ckbr0wn and cronaldo7

Obinna
Does Atiba hold the concacaf record for most European games? I just checked and he has played 104 times combined in Europa and Champions League. I can't even think of who can match that. Chicharito has played in 70... Anyways, does anyone know? Obinna
He does hold the record for most Europa league games by a concacaf player (70 games). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Cup_and_Europa_League_records_and_statistics#By_player He is 13th all time and no player outside of Europe has played more. So actually we can say he holds the title of most europa league games played by a non-European. That is a massive accomplishment. Stryker911
Besiktas having a bad season has been a bit overblown. They actually have a pretty good shot at qualifying for Champions League next year. With 5 games left they are 3 points out of 3rd, which is likely the highest they can get. However, Trabzonspor have been banned from European competitions next season so 3rd place will qualify for Champions League. Even where Besiktas are now they will qualify for Europa. lamptern, johnyb, Obinna and 2 others
top cheese
One of the reasons he’s probably still playing at the level he is, is bc Canada hasn’t played the number of international as say England or Germany. I would keep him for the next wc cycle. I think they would have to manage his minutes wisely though Nate3322

Olympique_de_Marseille
Atiba did not play in yesterday's match due to yellow card accumulation but I assume he will play in the last 2 matches.
