Aird stays  on bench today, as Rangers fall to Hibernian and into 3rd place: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/31367566

A lot of talk has centred around five loanees from Ashley's NUFC and the reported stipulation that they "contractually" must start if healthy, potentially ahead of players like Aird. Don't know if it was a genuine concern, though.

"Yet if he was ordered to play the new boys ahead of the regular players, he did not warn his squad of the command. The incredulous reaction of Fraser Aird on TV, when advised of what McDowall had said a few minutes previously, was literally jaw-dropping."

Do feel for Aird on some levels. Man is living his dream playing for Rangers, but he's gone through so much crap. I remember reading about how the OSA treated him like garbage, and now dealing with his boyhood club going through all this crap.
