ToonBear
I've sometimes felt guilty about not seeing the national team more. I saw them against Puerto Rico a few years ago, but I haven't been to a match since. I've attended MLS games, but a number of things turned me off about about how the league is run lately, and I wish them well, but I'm done. I have to support football in this country though, so I will go to as many Canada games in Toronto as I can, and hopefully in Montreal sometime as well. The Ref
I've been watching our Canadian footy for over 40 years. Many times live at stadiums. Seen players and coaches come and go. The few occasions when we win keeps me going, although the chances to make it to the big stage are slim at best. But what the heck, it is the best we have. ToonBear
I remember watching the 2000 Gold Cup growing up. I didn't realize how significant it was until later though. I'm glad I got to see that team, because even after the Honduras match, I was still optimistic that reaching the World Cup will happen soon. Tuscan
Voyageur Pre- and Post-match parties have always been the best. You just need to come hang out with us Saskies at those, and in the stands, and you'll fall in love with Nats matches in no time.
