Might as well bring light on someone who hasn't been talked about as much.

Yesterday Paco Deckers went 70 for the A-1 (U-19) squad of SC Heerenveen, as they qualified for the semifinals of some or other cup.

Going back into the youth history a bit, Deckers only missed a couple games with ankle injury, and other than that has mostly been a starter for the youth side, and has scored for the squad this year, the last being on November 30th.  http://www.sc-heerenveen.nl/nieuws/gudmundsson-met-hattrick-gevierde-man-bij-a1/10

He also had a good outing November 2nd.

Good luck to the '96 born as he continues to develop in the Eredivisie youth system.

He has been?  I know for a fact he was at a U-17 last year some time, for example.  (goes to check) February of 2013 to be exact.  If you are referring to why he wasn't called for the U-20 camp, he's going to get better exposure for Heerenveen playing tight in the youth championship, hoping to get himself into the senior team...I wouldn't leave either with the youth championship on the line...

Not sure why he wasn't selected for the U-17 World Cup though.  Sort of why I'm mentioning him, to help put his name back on the radar, right?

Yes, My mad I meant the u-20 camp. Makes sense if he's trying to get to the first team.
