Simeon Jacksen played 90 minutes in a 2-1 loss at Crewe.

According to Deportivo La Coruna website, Ricky Gomes was on the bench for their second team. He's been training with the first team though.

Still no sign of Piette. Coruxo, Ben Fisks team, plays later today.

Glad to see Fisk land on his feet. I thought he was an exciting player. From what (little) I've seen of him, he's perhaps a little less complete than some of the players coming through the Whitecap's residency program these days, but I thought he had a certain raw athleticism that made him exciting to watch.

I haven't seen as much of Fisk as others, but I really really like him as a player. Not necessary for his pace, but for his one v one ability out wide. I think we are hurting for wingers so I am glad he is getting minutes at this level of play.

@Blackdude - thanks for the clarification. Let's hope his club finished top of the group so they have a good shot then. Would love to see the lad in Spain's 2nd tier.

Petrasso has move to Notts County on loan. Not a fan of him changing clubs every three months.

it's what happens to youngsters in England to get first team mins.

as long as he gets first teams mins at a reasonable competition, I'm satisfied
