Larin has impressed during his time with the Canadian team, and drew a pretty impressive comparison from Floro.

“He reminds me a bit of a young Fernando Morientes,” said Floro, referring to the former Spanish national team and Real Madrid striker Floro coached as a young player. “He has room to grow but you could see from the first camp that he has quality.

“You could already see by his second (Canada) camp that he was more serious and enjoying the competition,” Floro added. “He has the ability to be a very important player for Canada in the future.”

Also I find EMEKA ONYONYE, Defender, Wright State, Sr mention by Ives really interesting

He's a 6'3" 200 lb defender.  If he is mobile, quick etc.  That's your prototypical MLS CB.

Former midfielder, ANB academy, K-W United.  I assume he would have adequate technical skills for a CB

Emeka is quality through and through. As a KW United fan I was able to watch him a lot and he is so good positionally and solid technically. Very rarely exposed. And he is physically a beast. Remember him taking on a 6'7" striker and by the end the striker was lashing out at Emeka because he didn't get a chance.

Jay Chapman is currently injured and hence why he was not in the Michigan State team. Said he should be back in a few weeks.

Ives said he'd do a separate ranking of homegrown players. He confirmed Chapman and Murrell are no longer property of TFC.

That is unfortunate. I wonder why though? 2 years ago Murrell was back playing on their U21 OSL squad, figured that would be enough (isn't it like 80 hours to keep eligibility?)

It's possible the players themselves didn't want to be property of TFC given the treatment of other draft picks/home grown players.
