Fraser Aird got the start for Rangers FC and just got the a goal!!

from espn report:

"But young players Lewis Macleod and Fraser Aird were arguably the stars of the show. Macleod notched two impressive finishes with either foot and formed a potent attacking outlet with Lee Wallace down the left, while right-winger Aird scored one and set up two more."  :)

Not really a player update, but just letting everyone know we will have a chance to watch Atiba play against Arsenal Tuesday on all of the Sportsnet main channels, rare chance to see him play club ball.

No Attiba unfortunately, hamstring they say. Manager Billic very complimentary and identified him as a key man on the team.

David Edgar also takes the cue and just scored for Birmingham.

Goal! Birmingham City 1, Ipswich Town 0. David Edgar (Birmingham City) header from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by David Cotterill with a cross following a corner.

Scoring has never been a big problem for Canada, now has it? Did I miss something?

Btw:

Mackenzie Pridham scored off the bench for Pittsburgh in USL. Miro Cabrilo also came off the bench.

Soccerway still has Johnson as the goalscorer. Man it's hard to write the correct goalscorer down. For one thing, the goalscorer was white! Hope Pridham get's the credits.

Haber has scored a second goal for Crewe although unfortunately Rochdale has scored 4 of their own.

Marcus Haber (Crewe Alexandra) header from the left side of the six yard box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Oliver Turton.

Edit: now 5-2 for Rochdale.

Bestikas vs Arsenal ends 0-0. Bestikas were very much in the match and had some chances. Does anyone know how long Atiba is supposed to be out? Would be great to see him in the second leg with everything to play for.

where was this leg played?

Nana Attakora is getting the start for DC United at home to Waterhouse in the CCL right now.  Some of the kids/reserves getting a run-out.

EDIT: shit, Porter's starting too (on the left?).  Didn't see about Opare.

Opare is playing CB. Porter is playing left wing. He had a good shot opportunity for a shot and skied the kick. Attakora is playing right back. Maybe if he gets more play time there he can give another option at right back.

Not watching but apparently all 3 aren't having great games.  Shame because you would hope at least one of them would make their mark.
