Fraser Aird came on in the 68th minute for Rangers FC and set up the first goal. For a lot of the remainder of the game he was the most important player on the pitch. Hopefully this will give him a starting position on a team that has struggled.

What's up with the Canadian strikers this weekend? Cavallini got one in his first game of the apertura. Game is still being played, 1-1 in the 74th minute.

Edit: make that a brace! Fenix now leading 2-1 against Juventud. Nice way to start the season! 84 minutes gone now.

Well, you have to admit there were times it was worse. And Fenix scored 3, can't find the striker yet but just imagine, 2 Canadian strikers with hattricks??

Edit: Am I disappointed right now to find out Cavalline ONLY scored twice in his first game of the season? Things must have changed...

Portuguese second division

Trofense (Hamiliton) 2 - 2 Tondela

Can't find the lineups so I can't tell if Hamilton played but I can tell that the 2 Trofense goals came from 2 strikers.

Dario and Brayan Riascos were the players who scored. Still no goals for Hamilton.

Not to rain on your parade but that was last week so it's in the wrong topic. It was a nice strike though.

Finland had the semi-finales in the Suomen Cup this weekend, Traffords side Mariahavn lost to HJK, can't see the line-up yet.

Monsalve and Oppong both went 90 minutes. FC Oulo is having a great run, 4th win in 5 games now.

Pacheco played the full 90 and picked up a yellow card for Santa Clara. They lost.

Hamilton came on in the 62nd minute and did not score (as was mentioned before). Cox wasn't on the bench for Athletico CP.

Two games being played with potential Canadian content today in case you want to catch a stream.

Nikolas Ledgerwood and Energie Cottbus play Hamburger SV in DFB cup action.

Fraser Aird and Rangers FC play Clyde in Scottish Challenge Cup action. I assume Aird will play.

Any others?
