Ryan O'Leary played 90 in a 3-1 loss to LA Galaxy 2.

While he is technically still eligible to represent Canada, I was told it was bad form to post about Aird on this board, and he hasn't even represented Scotland...I personally don't think of O'Leary as a Canadian abroad...

- Stamatopolous started his fifth straight this season as AIK beat Norrkoping 2-1 and move up to tenth in the Swedish top-flight.

- Another 90 min for Jakovic and another win for Shimizu, this time 4-0 over Tokushima Vortis

-Hirschfeld still out injured for Valerenga since the start of the season. They have 7 point from four games without him, with his young Norwegian once-understudy Konshavn getting two of them and a new mid-career Austrian Langer getting the other two. I wonder if his days are numbered there even after he recovers. An article on the new duo barely mentions Lars: http://www.tv2.no/2014/04/22/sport/fotball/tippeligaen/5523409

^Well there ya go then...but neither seems likely to represent Canada any time soon, although we had that little bit with Aird being rumored to be coming to one of our camps not long ago.  And coming to some prelim camps.

It does seem to me from all that, that at least conversation between Aird and the CMNT had been reopened.  Not sure anything comes of it though, if something was going to come of it, it would have, I feel?  Or maybe at the time of the 2013 Gold Cup they didn't think him yet mature enough for a roster spot?

 Ok, derail complete.

Aird was the one that turned down Canada.  Miller was seriously jonesing for him to play for us at the Gold Cup.

That's my inclination is to believe that as well.  Although I'm not personally remembering any quote.  My memory is (honestly it is) crap anyway

I only posted it because who ever edited his Wikipedia made it seem like there was interest.
