1996
The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Mens Soccer Nationals took place this past week in St. John New Brunswick, I guess this is the community college soccer nationals is what it is, Toronto's Humber College Hawks who gained a berth in the nationals by winning the Ontario championship played Thompson Rivers Wolfpack from Kamploops B.C. in todays national championship final and came away the champions with a 2-0 victory. This was Humber's second national championship in a row having won last year in 2012. I watched the game online and yes I did have a bit of an interest in this game as one of my former Ontario regional coaches is the head coach at Humber coaching in hist first season as head coach there, I was surprised to see the calibre of soccer on display was very good, anyways congratulations to the Humber head coach Mike Aquino and the team on winning the national championship and playing a nice brand of soccer from what I saw today. Ivanovski94
Humber could give York U a run for their money. The college teams are filled with players who ply their trade in the CSL.
