Lord Bob
Some ticketing information was announced today in Edmonton about next year's U-20 World Cup. "Venue packs" for each stadium go on sale November 28, covering each game at that stadium in the tournament. The price brackets for the venue packs are: Edmonton: $40/$60/$75/$90 Moncton: $50/$80/$100/$125 Montreal (without final and third-place match): $50/$85/$100/$125 Montreal (with final and third-place match): $65/$105/$135/$165 Toronto: $50/$75/$100/$120 http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/loc/02/20/52/81/canada2014_ticketing_general_info_neutral.pdf Individual ticket sales will begin in the spring of next year, and because this is FIFA and they're such cool dudes Visa cardholders will get a presale once the draw is made. http://www.fifa.com/u20womensworldcup/news/newsid=2207489/index.html
Sam
I assume there will be Voyageurs sections/ticket packages for these games?
Olympique_de_Marseille
I assume there will be Voyageurs sections/ticket packages for these games? I bloody well hope so! Under the current system, people who only want tickets for games where Canada is playing will have to wait until 2014 (when there will be less choice) instead of securing their tickets early. http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/competition/02/14/91/22/fu20wwc2014_matchschedule_05082013_en_neutral.pdf Under the current system we know that Canada will play on: Tuesday August 5th in Toronto Friday August 8th in Toronto Tuesday August 12th in Montréal Let's assume all goes really well and Canada ends up first in their group. Then they would also play: Saturday August 16th in Toronto If the posted information is final and they don't create an early sale opportunity for V's, we could just buy venue tickets for Toronto. If tickets are not linked to a specific name like the last women's World Cup in Germany (but not like the last men's World Cup), and therefore reselling is possible, all those people who don't care about non-Canada games could just re-sell their tickets for: Wednesday August 13th: C2 vs C3 D4 vs D1 and then just keep all the "Canada" tickets. People/The V's can then buy their "Tuesday August 12th in Montréal" ticket in 2014.
Sam
Tickets are coming on sale for this in a couple weeks. Has there been any progress on creating some sort of Voyageurs ticketing packages/sections?

Has there been any progress on creating some sort of Voyageurs ticketing packages/sections? +1 We need to get moving on this. Tickets go on sale in a week. ... just thinking it might be time for the 2015 WWC and 2014 U-20 WWC to get their own sub-forum. With the first tickets going on sale, now would be a good time to start such a sub-forum.

Skaw
So is there going to be an option to buy tickets through this site for the tournament or should we just buy them off the website?
Olympique_de_Marseille
For buying tickets individually, FIFA links to Ticketmaster for the actual purchase. For Toronto venue packs individually: http://www.ticketmaster.ca/venue-packtorontoon7-matchesforfait-de-sitetorontoon7-matchs-toronto-ontario/event/10004B6D0C0FDE8E For buying GROUP/CLUB VENUE PACK TICKETS, FIFA/CSA link us to: https://adobeformscentral.com/?f=QfelO8vC6qGUJYwT5go4CQ I would recommend holding off for now on individual purchases. Why? because you can't buy 112, 113, 114, 115 and 118 yet! Interestingly enough you can buy 116 and 117 and 117 is much cheaper than 116. 1) How many should the Voyageurs buy? (I say at least 50 tickets) 2) Jamie should I fill out the form? Would you like to? I'd like to help but I don't want to be on the hook for the cost of 50+ tickets... 3) Are 112, 113, 114 Category 2, 3 or 4? We need to know this before any order! http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/tournament/loc/02/20/52/51/canada2014_group_club_info_neutral.pdf
