nolando
This seems like a pretty massive leap but here is part of a story alleging his impending transfer, I think (in Turkish): http://www.yeniasir.com.tr/Spor/2013/07/27/bucaspor-vites-buyuttu
Grizzly
This seems like a pretty massive leap but here is part of a story alleging his impending transfer, I think (in Turkish): http://www.yeniasir.com.tr/Spor/2013/07/27/bucaspor-vites-buyuttu Bucaspor plays in the Turkish 2nd tier so not that much of a leap. It is huge leap in opportunity for him though, much better than getting stuck in the English lower divisions or transferring to Scotland. Bucaspor finished 5th last year and made the promotion playoffs although they did not win them. They are a team from Turkey's 3rd largest city, Izmir, so they definitely have some potential for promotion. Haber would be one promotion away from the Turkish Superliga or even a good performance without promotion might earn him a transfer up. Incidentally this is the team former Canadian Tam Nsaliwa plays for so probably that has something to do with the team looking at Haber.
Obinna
Promotion candidate in Turkish 2nd tier is better than a mid table club in the English 3rd tier.
youllneverwalkalone
I can see him and Tam forming some sort of ultra bizarre musical project.

ThiKu
That'd be an outstanding move for him. He has excellent work rate and this should develop his technical/tactical game.
madmonte
I'm trying to remember if the same was said of him moving from St. Johnstone to Stevenage. If so, it would seem to be proven true. He seems more technically sound than a year ago, and he seems to have garnered more opportunities. However I'm left wondering a little bit if his offers from Tier 2 Turkey are a result of a LACK of offers from Tier 2 England.
Lord Bob
Will he get paid?
Sam
Will he get paid? +1 This seems to be a much bigger concern with recent Canadians playing in Turkey. The level of play seems to be enough for many Canadians (Simpson's best years came at Manisaspor), but several of them in the past have had issues with this. shamrock
However I'm left wondering a little bit if his offers from Tier 2 Turkey are a result of a LACK of offers from Tier 2 England. I'd rather think about this question. The English lower leagues are a perfect showcase to scouts. On the other hand I can follow the reasoning of being one promotion away from first league play. However, aren't there restrictions in Turkey regarding foreigners? That wouldn't be a reason not to go for it, but it would have an impact on his resale-value. Still seems better than playing in Israel, and being blocks away from bombs going off...ask Earnshaw lol
Kurosawa1555362267
Will he get paid? Well, Nsaliwa joined Bucaspor after problems getting paid in Greece, so I suppose he did his homework and is getting paid.
Unnamed Trialist
Will he get paid? Not officially. That is why so many players go to Turkey. Nowadays in most European countries it is much worse if you DO get paid what your contract says. Then you have to pay taxes on that. What makes you guys think that is so good. If Nsaliwa left Greece for Turkey for pay reasons, all that proves is what we already know about him: he's a bit of an administrative mess. Do you really think all those foreigners are there and NOT getting paid? But Tam has never had good advice or a good nose for that side of things, which makes me think it had a lot to do with him. In any case, tier 3 in England is a high enough level and salaries are the best of any 3rd tier in the world. Going to Turkey for footballing experience and living in a beautiful town like Ismir might mitigate that.
