FC Gute (Sweden) is set to announce it will invite four Canadian players to take part in a professional trial in Gotland, Sweden. FC Gute plays in Sweden’s Division 2 Södra Svealand football league.

Over the past week, FFA Global (Canada) has hosted a player identification camp overseen and operated by UEFA-A licensed managers of the Swedish club. Players participating in the camp come from across Ontario (a few U17CMNT who are attending, very talent group at the camp).

The signing presentation will take place 1:00PM - Sunday, June 28th at Crescent School, 2365 Bayview Ave Toronto, ON....all are welcome to join. There will be opportunities to mingle with the coaches and talk footy.

The Swedish club has previously looked to Canada for talent on four occasions; signing four FFA Global graduates Esfandyar Nikmanesh, Evroy Junior Ellis, Alexander Ryan, and Mark Bacolcol.

Following the ID Camp, FC Gute managers will be joined by the club’s academy for a preseason camp and tour. FC Gute Academy will play a series of exhibition matches including friendly versus Toronto FC Academy (TBA) and Kingston FC (August 1).

Wait, i'm confused. So the four names in the article posted above are the players that were signed 4 weeks ago or they were players the club signed at some point in the past (as the article seems to suggest) "The Swedish club has previously looked to Canada for talent on four occasions" ??

BTW, Division 2 in Sweden is the 3rd tier.

Esfandyar Nikmanesh and Evroy Junior Ellis are in Sweden playing with the club. Alexander Ryan, and Mark Bacolcol have signed - are heading over perminately mid August

So then those are the four guys who have signed with the club? Weird. The paragraph starts with the sentence "The Swedish club has previously looked to Canada for talent on four occasions;" with the semi-colon indicating that the list following would be the players signed on those four occasions.

Those four have signed at an earlier date. Sunday FC Gute will sign four other Canadians for a extended trial in Sweden.
