Unnamed Trialist
Vancouver Sun says similar about Camilo today, that he is on track for a passport and that could mean playing for Canada. He does not seem to want to transfer out to Europe before securing one. Mind you, Camilo does not say all this, only that he is trying for the passport and is happy with his family in Vancouver. Keegan
Both would be great additions but I'm not holding my breathe. I believe Koffie wants to play for us but who knows if his appeal will allow him to be eligible and Camilo may just leave before he becomes eligible. madmonte
“It’s not like I’m not going to get a call-up from Ghana," he said. "The U23s will be playing soon, but I told my agent I just want to play here. “I feel home, actually. And if I feel like I’m home, why can’t I play for the national team?” I can feel that from Koffie. Where with Camilo it's a little different, he won't be getting calls from Brazil, and views Canada as an opportunity. Koffie seems willing to turn down Ghana to play for Canada, I like that. Would Camilo do the same if he was on the Brazil radar? Impossible to tell...

madmonte
lol he certainly acknowledges that fact. But yeah, it truly is impossible to tell with someone like Camilo who never truly was on the Brazil radar.
Wingback6
They would both be very welcome, both due to ability, and their spirit!! And while we're at it, let's REMOVE citizenship from people who 'defect' for footballing reasons (I'm looking your way JonDeGuz, Aird, Beggar, and ****egreaves) Play for someone else, fine. But don't expect to come home without getting a tourist VISA!!!!
tmcmurph
Uh, to be fair, if Camillo was on Brazil's radar, he wouldn't be playing for VWFC (with all due respect) ... Very true. I'm sure if he could even get one game for Brazil he would jump at it just because he grew up dreaming about it and watching his idols play in the famous Brazilian colours. He is also realistic enough that he knows how deep his home country is at his position. Hopefully we get them both and some more!
