madmonte
I put this as it's own thread so people know that Canada vs Panama is now a 1:30pm start time. Thank crap the other Voyageurs let me know or I would have been completely ignorant of the fact they switched the order of the games today. Anyone that is happening to go to the game today needs to know this, I think all the Voyageurs know but I think it's important the word gets spread if anyone knows someone via twitter or text, do them a favor, make sure they are aware. Havoc88
Well this is not good now! I had worked around being home at 5pm for the game. Sorry if it's been posted elsewhere - does anyone post the game online or know of somewhere to DL the match after? Thanks

matthew
changed from when? Time hasn't changed since the tourney started - been listed as 330 pm EDT on concacaf.com. Not sure, but our tickets have the fixtures reversed. No idea why Mexico would have been scheduled to play the first game, but they were.
Blue and White Army
MLSsoccer.com had incorrect times - I tweeted them, and they fixed the Canada-Panama KO (but not the other match... the morons).
amacpher
Come to think of it, the double-header shouldn't even feature 2 matches from the same group since Martinique / Mexico will know exactly what they need to do to stay ahead of Canada (or catch Panama). It is literally a case of "you're doing it wrong".

wcs53
Not sure, but our tickets have the fixtures reversed. No idea why Mexico would have been scheduled to play the first game, but they were. One of the biggest problems with this tournament is having the final games in each group played at different times. It just means that when the final game is played the two teams know exactly what they have to do to ensure they get the place they need to move forward. Even if Canada win, Mexico and Martinique can play out a draw in the second game ensuring that Martinique finish third and move forward as one of the two best third placed teams. Neither of the bottom two teams in group C can get more than three points. Not that we have really done enough to go forward, but it shows how little integrity this tournament has. gator
It really doesn't matter. Teams always know what goes on in the other game when they are played at the same time. Yes they do but if CONCACAF played things like any other major tournament in the world the matches would be played simultaneously! I know the teams are up to date with the other match being played at the same time but in this scenario starting lineups can be altered according to the previous result! amacpher
It really doesn't matter. Teams always know what goes on in the other game when they are played at the same time. Not if that other match is played 2 hours later. IOW, if Canada is winning by 1, do they try to protect that lead or risk it by going for a 2-goal victory? Hard to say because the other game hasn't been played yet so they are at a disadvantage.
