There has been quite a bit of discussion already in the 'Ticket and Accommodations' thread but it looks like it is time to move this information over here and start collecting it in one place. TBH I'm not sure who is coming, what they are bringing, or what other decisions need to be made (or how they should best be made for that matter), but, for what it's worth, here's what we have so far:

1) Pre-Game gathering at Fado Irish Pub: http://www.fadoirishpub.com/seattle/

Thanks to Blue and White Army for working on this one. He has emailed the pub to make a booking and I will update the start time, etc, here when we know more.

2) March: Leave Fado ~6:30PM and march to the stadium for the game at 8PM.

There has been some discussion about whether we should march early and catch the previous game, should march late and skip it, or have two groups go, meet up later in the stadium and do a march around the stadium. Maybe we should start a poll or something. Or do you think it would be worthwhile to list those who are going early and those who are marching late below? At the very least it would be nice to have the entire group together for a march to build some momentum before the match.

3) Post-game: Not sure I've seen any particular discussions on this. Back to Fado? Other suggestions?

4) Meeting at Bruce Lee's gravesite. This was put forward by Unnamed Trialist but I haven't seen any other discussion about it in a while. Here is a link: http://www.lakeviewcemeteryassociation.com/lees.php

5) Provincial Flags for the March: I will coordinate that with the individual flag bearers.

If anyone is bringing banners etc, it would be nice to know about that too.

Please give me any suggestions that I need to add to the thread and I will. Having never been involved in organizing (or even discussions about organizing) game day activities, I feel a bit out of my depth.

Transportation from Vancouver to Seattle:

The Voyageurs' bus trip has unfortunately been cancelled. I'm not aware of any other organized bus specifically for Canada supporters.

The Amtrak Cascades train runs a 6:40am-11:05am service to Seattle, currently at $30 one-way. This price will increase closer to the travel date. They also offer a bus service which is slightly faster (9:00am-12:45pm or 11:30am-3:30pm).

please buy in section 100; once that is full, buy in sections 100NA / 101 / 102.

PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT TIME YOU INTEND TO ARRIVE AT THE PUB, AS WE NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION.

March to the match:

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WILL ATTEND BOTH MATCHES, OR ONLY THE CANADA-MEXICO MATCH. The leaving-time for the march will be decided accordingly (with the majority).

If the majority of people will only attend the Canada-Mexico match (8:00pm), the march will leave the pub at 6:45pm.

If the majority of people will attend both matches (Panama-Martinique at 5:30pm and Canada-Mexico at 8:00pm), the march will leave the pub at 4:45pm.

There is an effort to have all provincial (and perhaps even territorial) flags on display during the march. For more info, please see the "Provincial flags for marches in Seattle and Denver" thread on the Voyageurs' forum.

It might be worth listing in your first post all of the people who will attend (from the "roll call" thread, the thread on the Southsiders' forum, etc.)

I added in the ones from the 'Roll Call' list but couldn't find the list on the Southsiders Forum (am probably just blind).

Any news from Fado?

Do you think more people from Vancouver will be coming down? In the last couple of weeks only 1 ticket has sold for section 100 in Seattle. I believe there are 27 left. It would be nice to at least get that section sold out.

I got it trimmed earlier today. ;) Interestingly, to types like me, I discovered my barber Nick retired and his son Abou has taken over. What makes this cool is that my barber was also my grandfather's barber. Nick cut the hair of two generations of my family and I've had a hair cut from two generations of his family.

I was planning to bring my drum. Any idea of the kinds of restrictions on what can be brought into the stadium?

It says that drums are not prohibited as long as they are not interfering with fan's experience (I doubt anyone in our section would complain). It also says that signs must be handheld and not on sticks and that flags must be on 1/2 inch pvc poles not longer than 3.5 feet ... not sure what the policy is on flags as obviously the poles will be a lot longer, although it does say that any exceptions must be pre-approved ... not sure how traveling support gets pre-approval.

BANNERS AND SIGNS

Banners and signs are permitted during Sounders FC matches as long as they do not obstruct the view of guests or block stadium signage and must meet the following requirements:

Item may not be constructed of wood, metal or any other material that may cause harm to others as determined by stadium management.

If a holding device is desired, poles MUST be made out of a hollow ½ inch PVC Pipe and no longer than 3½ feet long. Any pole longer than this must be pre-approved by stadium management.

Banners and signs must be event-related, in good taste and not commercial, political or offensive in nature. All signs must be hand-held; signs on sticks are not permitted. CenturyLink Field reserves the right to remove any banner or sign.

BAG SEARCH

No soft-sided cooling containers, coolers or large bags (bigger than 12” x 12” x 12”) are permitted into CenturyLink Field and Event Center on Sounders FC match days. Security measures may be increased based on direction from the MLS, orders from the Seattle Police or government as well as the current terror threat level. These procedures will include but are not limited to a more thorough search of persons and property as well as a pat down. Due to these safety procedures, we strongly recommend early arrival to all major CenturyLink Field events.

Large bags are permitted at other CenturyLink Field and Event Center events, and are subject to search. For specific event information, please call CenturyLink Field at (206) 381-7555.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

For all other events in CenturyLink Field and Event Center, outside food and beverages are not permitted. Exceptions are made for factory sealed bottled water, baby bottles, food or beverages related to medical needs, and unopened, soft-sided single-serve containers.

No glass bottles, cans or outside beverages are permitted in CenturyLink Field and Event Center for Sounders FC matches. Non-metal water bottles are allowed, however. The water bottle must be full and factory-sealed. It cannot be a container from home, and it must be filled with water (non-enhanced, flavored or carbonated). Exceptions are made for empty personal plastic sports bottles (non-metallic), baby bottles, health-related materials and unopened, soft-sided, single serve containers (such as small milk cartons, juice boxes, etc.).

Drinking fountains are located near the restrooms on all levels of CenturyLink Field and Event Center. On the Club Wells Fargo Level there are 4 double fountains, on the Main Concourse there are 16, and on the Field Level there are 6.

An update by me, one of my friends canceled (suposed to be me +2). So I have an extra ticket to whomever messages me first if they can convince somoene to go via free ticket.

It looks like there is more interest in the Mariners game on the 12th so I guess we'll do that one.

Me and my friend are interested sam so add two more to the list
