madmonte
Either way I'm sad, because their new Norwich kits look like such an improvement, for 2013-2014.
trueviking
I don't think he got released. His contract was up and Norwich didn't re-up his deal. Yeah. The club issued a list of ten players that they were letting go. Just making it official I suppose. I thought it might be worth a thread to discuss where he lands. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11709/8725057/Simeon-Jackson-on-Norwich-s-10-man-list-of-released-players

Tuscan
Maybe a return to the Gills? Or perhaps a Championship club? Doubt he'll leave England, but is he worth a look from any MLS side?
ThiKu
Simeon could do well in MLS of course, but he'll surely make more money in England. I'd be surprised if a Championship team or 5 weren't looking at him closely now.

Not to bad mouth him, I'm just not sure it would be a foregone conclusion. Staying in England makes alot of sense.
tmcmurph
Just out of curiosity who has his MLS rights? PS. I hope he gets a gig for great money with regular playing time.

JamboAl
There are quite a few Charlton supporters who want him in especially since we've released strikers Danny Haynes & Ricardo Fuller and likely Bradley Wright-Phillips. I'd like to think Charlton would sign him up; I'd also like to think Charlton could do better than Simeon (but that's the non-Voyageur part of me talking). Anyway, I'm in the "Addicks could do better" crowd, although Jackson does have appeal as a younger Fuller-type who can do some dirty work and poach goals but isn't much of an all-rounder and shouldn't be used every day. JamboAl
The biggest shock is you guys didn't know you both supported Charlton! How come you haven't told me, Gator? :-) Yes, Lord Bob, been an Addick since the Lennie Lawrence escapology acts in the mid 80s, then was a season ticket holder when we ground shared with the Hamsters at Upton Park and head back every year or two for a match. Was at Cardiff and home v Wolves last month. Good times in the Championship.

trueviking
take it for what its worth...obviously not much, but whatever. 21 May 2013 13:51:48 Simeon Jackson has flown on the Norwich transfer jet to Leeds, and will then drive to the riverside to discuss terms for a 3 year contract at the riverside http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/norwich-rumours.php

Winnipeg Fury
As a Forest fan, it would be great to have another Canadian on their roster. Forest have serious depth up front.....probably depend what Southampton does.
