Al-Shaibani gets the start for the 1-1 draw in France. Borjan does the same for Sivasspor in Turkey.

The starting keeper for Nimes was red-carded last match. Haidar wasn't dressed for that match as the manager had elected to go without a back-up keeper, so an outfield player had do go into net. Good to see he got the chance for his second appearance of the season, although the way it's looking it might be his last as a member of Nimes, I would hazard to guess.

Well, not sure how much REB related it is, since he didn't make the match day squad for the last six games in a row now - but this weeks results mean that Eintracht can secure direct promotion this coming weekend (if Kaiserslautern and Cologne don't win - the gap is now 12 points with 5 matches to go).

Russia - Division 1

Volgar-Astrakhan 0 - 1 Torpedo Moscow (Di Chiara)

Di Chiara was with the team in Astrakhan but was not on the bench. Torpedo's website lists which players are on the plane for away games. I did a bit of research on his current situation and I think he is getting caught in the foreigner rule. The Russian first division only allows 3 foreigners in a team's lineup and Di Chiara is the 6th foreigner signed by Torpedo. I read an interview with their coach and he was asked why they were signing more foreigners and he said it is because they plan to go to the Premiership in the near future where more foreigners are allowed so wanted to sign some young talented foreign players in preparation for that. Likely whether Di Chiara is on the bench is highly dependent now on who else is playing and how much of a chance he has of seeing the pitch in a certain match. The victory today was very important for Torpedo as it got them out of the relegation zone and was also against another team in the relegation zone.
