Fast-forward to October 26/27:

Smits, Edward and Jalali got the start from Miller. The keeper did well, while his distribution has always been better than Parkers'. Edward got MOTM-credentials after Eddies best game of the season, I honestly don't see why guys like Straith or Ledgerwood get a look at Rightback in the MNT, but Edward doesn't. In this form he's the best we have.

Jajali looked great, excellent control of the ball and passing well. Was close to a goal too.

Mirabelli came on for Jalali in the 70th minute, Mortotsi replaced Nurse in the 90th, but still managed to hit the post with a spectecular shot.

In the same game, Anmdres Arango played 75 minutes for the opponants.

Earlier in the weekend, Paul Hamilton played the entire game in a Railhawkes win against the Silverbacks.

Final action of the 2013 season.

In the FC Edmonton - Ft Lauderdale game, Smits, Edward and Jalali all played a full 90. Mortotsi got the start and was subbed in the 82nd minute by Hanson Boakai. Mirabelli came on in the 61st minute and scored his second goal of the season.

Hamilton played a full 90 for the Railhawks as well

is paul hamilton back with carolina?

His Wikipedia shows "Carolina Railhawks 2013-"... which could mean anything.

The official Carolina site only lists 4 contracted Railhawk players. They signed Connor Tobin (played for Minnesota United last year) plus only Austin King and Justin Willis are the only returnees from last year. The Railhawks have been the quietest of NASL teams this off-season. Perhaps I wonder if Traffic Sports has said to "wait and see". Should be more signings before the end of February.
