She's been the first choice for a while, so I guess it's about time.

It's more interesting to see LeBlanc with the 33 shirt. I don't know if it's a joke that she'll be turning 33 soon. But # don't mean anything. Players usually keep the numbers they have for the women'S team. It's not like England where usually players wearing #1 through 11 are starting. We just give them numbers and if they keep getting called, they usually keep their number.

Mango
Coach Herdman has added defender and Burnaby native Kylla Sjoman to the roster. She played on the youth national teams in the mid 2000s. Right now, she's playing German Bundesliga II Division. She also played for the Doncaster Rovers Belles a couple of years back. She has experience playing midfield: http://www.soccerway.mobi/?sport=soccer&page=player&id=185642&localization_id=www More info: http://www.canadasoccer.com/canada-readies-for-clash-against-france-p153621 Of note, a late addition was made to the roster that will be available for Coach Herdman for these two matches. Full back Kylle Sjöman, who currently plays in the German Bundesliga II Division, has been called into her first level “A” camp since she competed for Canada’s youth teams in 2003 and 2004.
