The match-ups, groups and locations will be released on Wednesday, March 13th. No draw ? Like the last time ? What locations and group would be more convenient for Canada ?

BMO Field would be good

Damn, forgot the yanks have monopoly rights on the Gold Cup till year 2150.....

When will we be able to host it wonder 3cities(MLS cities) and maybe in near future Ottawa and Edmonton are more than enough IMHO. After all we don't need to host it in a Dozen locations like the US is doing.

West Coast home run! (Well, no, a home run would have had Portland instead of Denver, but still a solid West Coast standup double).

See you guys in Seattle at least. Probably Los Angeles. Denver would require the cooperation of the work gods.

What's your take on the best Seattle option? Bus or just do ticketing?

Surely they could of done the 3 in some sort of sensible order right?

I suspect they had to work around each venue's schedule ... however, this might be giving them too much credit. Being in Portland instead of LA would have made going to a couple of games much easier. Then again Seattle, Miami, LA would have made significantly less sense.

LA to Seattle - 1800km

Seattle to Denver - 2100km

If you were thinking of road trip, those are manageable distances over the time span. Beautiful drives as well.

There will certainly be some people who want tickets only, given the timing: you can take the day off work and see two games, or just leave the office early and see that one that matters. Plus border delays make a bus not quite as reliable as the train or a car.

I'm hassling the Southsiders board about a bus as well because they have expertise and contacts in the area. More the merrier!

Making LA the first stop just makes it such a pain in the ass, and then having to go back to Seattle for 2 and then right back south really is annoying.

True. How about this:

July 6th - Fly to Vancouver. Attend Caps vs. Sounders. Take the Red Eye to LA.

July 7th - Go to Disneyland. Leave early. Go to the Rose Bowl for Canada vs. Martinique

July 8th to 11th - Bus tour through wine country and up the Pacific Coast arriving just in time for ...

July 11th - Canada vs. Mexico in Seattle

July 12th - Bus through Washington State and discover the amazing geological history of the channeled scablands. Continue on to Salt Lake where everyone is converted to Mormonism and no one ever leaves to attend ... okay ... just jokes.

July 13th - Arrive in Colorado and climb a 14er

July 14th - Canada vs. Panama in Denver.

July 15th - Fly home and enter detox.

DontPanic ... get 'er done!

I really can't do more than one game - so I think I'm probably going to do Seattle and just wait on someone to set up a central hotel where we'll all be staying.

Thank you CONCACAF for making sure watching the Gold Cup is going to be as expensive as possible for me.

It's possible I might go to Seattle and then stay in VC (never been) for the 3rd group game.

We are already arranging that stuff.

Let's see what the response is, but it may be better just to arrange tickets. We'll see what people say.
