tmcmurph
7 minutes of extra time! 7 freaking minutes? Did they have a power outage? Anyway Montreal takes 3 full points on the road and sends the ECS home all sad faced. Well done Montreal!!! On the road and 3 points in the bag is a great way to start the season. Kurosawa1555362267
Hassoun Camara had multiple injuries timeouts, later got subbed off. A ball in the balls and another one in the face later on (they will be checking to make sure he did'nt have a concussion), hard night for him. madmonte
Wish they'd do a better job of televising Impact games (is that just out west this is a problem?), hardly ever get to watch them play.
Dub Narcotic
MLS Live is only $50 with a code. The Impact played pretty well, they are very organized. They also got lucky that Seattle looked a bit off going forward, but a very good three points overall.
Lennie
The game was on NBC(west) last night. Great goal from Arnaud.

Soccerpro
Montreal was great. I'm not sure why some predictions have them missing playoffs in the East this year.
madmonte
Is MLSlive a webservice? My problem is almost 90% of actual game times I'm working so I PVR the crap outta soccer. Not sure that would work for me unless they have games watchable after the fact too?
youllneverwalkalone
Not a lot of love for either side, but lots of respect for two former USL foes. That was a match far above recent MLS standards and was great to watch. I'm glad to see the true "clubs" of MLS setting the standard for professionalism, ambition, and support. Reminds me that a lot fans of a certain team around here that went on and on about how history and tradition are meaningless in MLS. Results have been proving otherwise of late, as predicted. There are no true "clubs" in MLS, no matter how much any particular team's PR people like to spin it that way. MLS itself isn't even a true league, in the purest sense of the word. jonovision
Color me impressed with Montreal yesterday. For as long as Nesta and Ferrari stay healthy (no guarantees there, of course) they will be a tough team to break down.

mtlfan
What I found interesting about the Impact's season opener was along with the TVA television broadcast was the CJAD english broadcast with the commentators in Seattle. TVA commentators did not make the trip.

youllneverwalkalone
He means that it's a single entity and that the clubs have to change their legal structure in order to enter the league. At least for those coming from USL/NASL.
Ruud
Color me impressed with Montreal yesterday. For as long as Nesta and Ferrari stay healthy (no guarantees there, of course) they will be a tough team to break down. Agreed - that's my biggest concern. Two games on turf at home are sure fire injury risks. I was also wholly impressed with the game, but found that there were many needless giveaways that were incomprehensible late on. Bernier was a mixed bag - very solid in some areas, and a few killer passes, but also several needless giveaways. But turf games are always tougher. If this 11 stays healthy, they're in good shape. Otherwise,...
Yohan
Montreal was great. I'm not sure why some predictions have them missing playoffs in the East this year. it's not that Mtl sucks, but other Eastern Conference teams made improvements to rosters too. Too many question marks with Mtl roster to have them as playoff contenders
