Yohan
Kopi Opare seemed to have won one of 2 CB spots for LA. Scored his first MLS goal the other week and has generally looked decent. Call him up!

tmcmurph
Russell Teibert (assist) plays the full game as does Sam Adekugbe at left back. Sam was very impressive in his first MLS game at left back. Only 18 and I'd say he's got some serious skills already. This is very promising. Blackdude
With the signing of former Kashima Antlers striker Yuya Osako at 1860 Munich, Rob Friend could leave the Bavarian club. A return to MLS is rumoured in the German newspapers. Clubs rumoured are Vancouver and LA. The Galaxy look to be his next team as they apparently agreed to a 4 year contract with Friend that will be announced by this weekend. http://www.tz.de/sport/1860-muenchen/rob-friend-wechsel-tsv-1860-muenchen-los-angeles-galaxy-perfekt-meta-3309038.html

shamrock
Pat Onstad has joined Berhalter's coaching staff as an assistant in Columbus: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/former-canadian-international-pat-onstad-joins-columbus-crew-as-assistant-coach/article16279986/ So does Robbert Maaskant. I know this guy a bit, have done numerous interviews with him back in the Netherlands. While he is a great coach, I can think of 2 problems: 1. he's not an assistent, Maaskant's your typical Alphamale and I think he's aiming for a headcoach job in the US. 2. I also know Berhalter a bit, as a no-nonsense defender he's your old school 4-4-2 guy, similar to Nelsen maybe, whereas Maaskant will always try and put a Dutch 4-3-3 on the pitch. I don't think this will last very long, but I can be wrong, we'll see.
