Issey Nakajima-Farran has been signed in Denmark according to Barcelona daily Sport, in a short note today, no mention of the new club yet. The short article says his stint with Suburense has thus ended at three games. I have not found anything in Danish websites yet.

Edit: My source in Sitges says it's a team from Copenhagen, in 1st tier coud be FC Copenhagen, Brondby or Nordsjaelland, in 2nd Lyngby, Koge, Bronshoj, Roskilde. My bet would be Nordsjaelland as he was there before. Found a recent article in Danish press on him, like this: http://www.bold.dk/nyt/nakajima-farran-klar-til-dansk-comeback

Brendan Norris (GK -1995 - Canadian/English) currently plays for Hungerford Town (7th div) in England - Southern Premier League.

I know players in England will only be tracked to the 6th division, so I don't expect him to be added.

Good find Toje.  They ARE in the promotion fight so we'll keep an eye on it.

Keep an eye on Anderson and Farran guys...with Anderson it COULD still have been a trial.

Added Adam Appugliesi to Italy's 5th tier.

Interesting article about Marcus Haber from last month. I would love to see him in a strike partnership with Hume or Jackson to mimic the one he seemed to have created with Ajose. Also worth noting is the fact that he basicallly lost his place in the team for two months because he accepted Canada call-ups. An all too frequent occurance for our boys.

A while back Squizzato said a member of Unattched FC was going to a club soon. According to him now apparently it aint happening, and it sounds like the player in question is retiring instead. JDG? De Ro? I wonder who it was.

edit: I read the tweet wrong. The player in question isn't retiring, he just isn't going to join a club. Unattached FC will keep him it seems.

Brad Beaumont seems to be doing his thing in Trinidad with W Connection quietly. Will be following his progress. Nice to see some of our guys get contracts in lesser-known, but good places.

A freind lives there said they looked good. Beaumont is playing more then the other.

Also as i posted in the Canucks abroad thread. Champions league qualifiers are coming up and if they qualify they could be playing in some really good games.

http://www.rednationonline.ca/Articles2015/CanadiandefenderBradBeaumontsignsforTrinidad.aspx

"On January 26, 2015 W Connection FC of the TT Pro League (the first division in Trinidad and Tobago) signed two Canadian players: central defender/defensive midfielder Brad Beaumont (22)...."

"Beaumont is 6 ft 1 and was born on March 24, 1992 in Scarborough, Ontario. He then lived in Pickering until age 4 when he moved to Courtice where he has lived ever since."

So he just turned 23 yesterday, happy bday Brad. Not exactly the strongest league, but it's a foot in the door to the pro ranks.

Don't think it's been shared. Former Toronto Fc's league 1 captain Marco Rodriguez is now playing for Windsor Arch Ka 1 in the Macao top league. They are second after 7 games, marco has appeared in 4 with 3 goals.
Heres a game sheet other can be found on the macao fa site.

What exactly is your definition of good place? A guy has to sign where he can but the T&T league is basically semi-pro level well below NASL.

You're right it's not a good league but it's a nice starting spot for the kid.  He'll be playing in a league with internationals, potential shot at CCL games and certainly stand out to any pro clubs as a Canadian.  Pretty ironic that we see our pro clubs signing players from these leagues and now we have a kid having to sign down there without even a sniff from clubs up here.

I think the league is fully professional. It was formed to heighten the level Trinidadian players were playing at. Although I don't think the pay is much. Either way it is probably the best league in the Carribean.

Plus, Gray and Beaumont got a chance they couldn't pass up. Guys like Kenwyne Jones cut their teeth in Trinidad with W Connection befor making moves.

Roberto Stillo tweeted out a congratulatory tweet to one David Velastegui, former Canadian U-18, and Toronto Croatia player. He has signed with Atlético San Cristóbal in the Dominican Republic. I believe he's played 2 games and has already scored. Hard to get info on that league, I'm not sure if you want to track it but he definitely wants us to know about him as he included the hashtag #canmnt in his tweet about scoring and Roberto tagged the Voyageurs in his tweet. Good to see him still playing after he got hurt and good to see that he's a proud Canadian and wants to make it to the national team.

Playing in the Dominican Republic can't be THAT bad.
