If you’re streaming you’re dreaming.

Canada’s new World Cup cycle starts today.

2013 – Enjoy the Hex Canada.

2014 – Enjoy the World Cup Canada.

2015 – Canada struggles to advance against Caribbean minnows during the opening round of World Cup qualifying. These represent the first international matches on Canadian soil in 3 years' time.

2016 – Canada is eliminated from World Cup contention by Surinam after Grandpa DeRo scores an own goal during another 1-0 bunker and counter loss in Paramaribo. The now 38 year old Canadian veteran vows to return for one more World Cup campaign because Canadian kids still need a little more of his inspiration.

The CSA fires their head coach.

The Voyageurs start another thread entitled: “We need a professional league!!!!

Alfons puts out another edition of InsideSOCCER that focuses on what is needed to finally make soccer work in Canada.

2017 – The CSA hires another interim coach.

Albert Einstein’ definition of insanity: “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Thus in my journey of life I have learned that if the CSA does not want to stop loosing, don’t waste time trying to persuade them. (Loosely adapted from page 90 of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.)

Rob man, just can it, watch a couple games, and enjoy them. Once in a bloody while, it needs to be about actual football and love of the sport, not forever spouting off with this tripe.

Exactly my point. When was the last time you enjoyed watching one of our matches? Was it the 1-8 slaughter? Was it the 0-4 stream? Was it the 0-0 bunker and counter? Don't you recognize sshhit when you see it (I already know the responses this is going to bring forth from those who enjoy these kind of games). My love for the game and my love for soccer is precisely the reason that for my "spouting off with this tripe" as you put it. I enjoyed three great CONCACAF matches yesterday. If those matches were any kind of indicator of what the next nine match-days of the Hex hold in store then we're in for a treat, because I think this will be the most exciting Hex ever, and I only wish that we were good enough to be a part of it.

All the crap above is an embarrasment, because each and every one of you also wish that Canada was good enough to be playing in the Hex right now. Instead, a group of you get upset at me because I call it as it is, abeit in a very un-Canadian manner. I know that I'm not polite and wholesome like a CBC television show that leaves you warm and fuzzy at the end. That's because I'm Dutch and I can't appreciate or tolerate shhit. I really don't take any of your negativity to heart because to me it's only confirmation that you know I'm right. Bring it on you lovers and enjoyers of good soccer.

Yes, we do. Your posts!

My love for the game and my love for soccer is precisely the reason that for my "spouting off with this tripe" as you put it.
You obviously don't "love the game" if you couldn't have fathomed what the last game against the US was about. You have had some sick anti-establishment agenda/vendetta since day one. If you stopped spouting the "foolishness" you might gain some support if you could post some rational ideas.

I know that I'm not polite and wholesome like a CBC television show that leaves you warm and fuzzy at the end. That's because I'm Dutch and I can't appreciate or tolerate shhit.
Spare us the sympathy act, everybody who has been here longer than a week knows what you're about. You'll never change. If you could for one moment think and post rationally you might get a better response but you can only troll, because you like doing it and drawing attention to yourself. Either that or you are a sick puppy.

And you don't "call it as you see it". You pick your spots and are never around when the NT is doing well.

As LBJ used to say "Don't $hit me cause I know better"

For the multitudes who've only been here a week, and the masses who make up the remaining 39 viewers, could you please remind us exactly when the last time was "when the NT was doing well?" I bet ya you can't ;)

I always enjoy it. You don't call it as it is. As Joe said, and I've pointed out before, when canada was on that long unbeaten streak, you were ex-communicado. You feed on misery. Sometimes your posts ARE relevant. Unfortunately you have to sift through some ranting to get the good stuff. But even when you have a good point, you pile on and troll so much, that your credibility on this board is absolutely shot.

Do something different than talk about the CSA. Pick a player, past or present...hopefully someone a lot of people on the boards will recognize, and expound on what you like about them. Make it a Canadian, even. Just, for once, be likable, for crying out loud.
