Vic Posted December 25, 2012 Share Posted December 25, 2012 There is a wonderful scene at the end of Penny Marshall's "A League of Their Own" where the original players from the league are attending a present-day function at the Hall of Fame. Together again, looking back at their lives and remembering their playing days must have been quite emotional. Here's something for the people who were in Britain to store away so when they have great grandchildren or great nieces and nephews, they can tell them first-hand the story of the game where everyone dropped everything and sat riveted like a game of hockey 40 years ago. These were taken shortly after the whistle in the semi-final.
