Montreal Impact Third Jersey

^TFC fans wouldn't know enough to care. ;)

That's a great kit. Great. So glad to see a bit of variety to an MLS kit for one. Outstanding collar too.

God, please let the Whitecaps do something new with their kit this year *cough* horizontal blue bar *cough*

You can't have red on our jersey, it's the colour of our fiercest rival. I'm sure TFC fans would never accept blue on their jerseys.

Well, blue shorts or blue trim on the shirts like the Blizzard wouldn't be outrageous.

lulz, wouldn't it be hilarious if TFC made the exact same third jersey with red instead of blue? Both teams would look like posers, especially if we played against each other with those kits. A fake Milan derby.

Very late 1980's european style, which is not a bad thing.

So long as they don't go down that route with the shorts you'll be fine.

Think of the Budgie Smuggles the australians still wear in the AFL but a size smaller throughout!

Tighter than a Camels arse in a sandstorm those things were.

lol, you have something against short shorts?

Absolutely love this kit, and no, it's not a copy of Inter Milan. Striping is different if you actually compare them. So what if it's the same colours, not like Inter are the only club on earth that use the blue-black vertical striping pattern. I will definitely grab one of these if this is to be the new third kit, I'm just worried by the second picture that the striping isn't all the way around.

I already have a TFC kit (the new alt white one) and a Whitecaps kit (the white one) it's time I got the third team, too, methinks after seeing it!

Inter change the striping every year now so it's moot point. Let's just say the design pattern is similar for both clubs.

IMFC wore their third jersey last night vs. TFC, and I couldn't help think that soon enough, this will become their primary jersey. I think teams have a complete jersey strategy, whereby they know that fans will buy the first seasons jersey, and so they just put one out, and knowing in the next few years they'll put out a better one. I think of the Impact, who have black and blue stripes in their logo, but then didn't have a shirt like that. Similarly the Whitecaps will likely soon put out a retro jersey, and fans will eat it up. I'm sure this was the plan all along.

Yup. Thats usually the idea for a third kit. Don't know if it will be IMFC's primary kit, but I like the idea of having a classy jersey for important games.

A bit late, but for what its worth, its apparently more a copy of the Atalanta Jersey,

I love it. I'm happy i didn't buy one last year. I might get one soon.

That is smart business thinking.

KC probably had this in mind as well last year even though they fed everyone bs about how they didn't know for sure if people were going to buy the jersey after the re-brand, which is why they waited to see if it did well before introducing another kit this year.

Something really irritates me about Montreal trying to be Italian at every turn....

Oh well.

Saputo is Italian Canadian along with De Santis and Biello. Perhaps Saputo was an Inter fan when they first used this jersey. I myself understand why they chose it but I hate any jersey with black. I thought they should have used red white and blue in their uniforms as do the habs, als and the expos did.
