MOTM according to most on the PSV board today. Hutch was defensive midfield, and dominated in the position. Many on the board who were critical of his decision not to resign with PSV, seem to be much more understanding after seeing him in midfield - the thinking is that he wants to move to a team in order to play a midfield role.

Germany

Braunschweig 2 - 1 Sandhausen,

REB was not in the squad.

Didn't play for the reserves either. Speaking of the reserves - I hope Jorgo Nika might get a shot there sometime. He's still a regular for the U-19, and since Eintracht II is 14-0-0 in the Oberliga so far (season has 30 games) testing out some youth players shouldn't hurt.

Did any one see this? I noticed several Canucks having a hard time getting back into their starting XI after the last internationals, but Edgar returning as a Hutchinsonesque Jack-of-all-Positions is a stunner..........

Sean Dyche's reign as Burnley manager got off to a fine start as a goal in each half deservedly saw off a lacklustre Wolves side 2-0........

Ross Wallace and Ben Mee returned to the Burnley line-up following injury and suspension respectively, while Canada international David Edgar was handed a first start for almost a month - taking on an unfamiliar midfield role in place of Chris McCann.

Vålerenga has announced that Tosaint Ricketts has received international clearance from the NFF (Norwegian FA) and is now eligible to play for them at Sogndal IL. He is on the bench (wearing squad #25) in the match which starts at 1 pm Eastern Time today. Lars Hirschfeld will start as usual.

Hopefully they can teach him how to finish...

I wouldn't count on it. VIF aren't great at finishing these days especially since two of their prolific strikers (Luton Shelton and Mo Abdellaoue) from the past two seasons have gone on to bigger and better things. I mean even Chad Barrett of TFC fame is there these days.
