No News On CMNT Aftermath Yet?

Surprised there hasn't been any news on the aftermath of the game that shall not be mentioned. I suppose the CSA Board has to convene for an emergency meeting in order for any decisions to be made. Hart's gotta go, I mean you HAVE to go out there with a new formation and revised tactics to weather the storm. I expect many of the players to call it a day, although you never know, guys might want to try and prove themselves before stepping away, so perhaps most won't in the end.

My guess is they will give Hart about a month to consider his future (essentially hope he quits, which I think he will), and if he hasn't quit by then the CSA will have to fire him. The rebuild will start in March with friendlies and hopefully by then we will have re-instated a new coach.

This is really depressing talking about starting from scratch again after only a week ago we were discussing whether guys like Cavallini would have a role to play in the hex....

They'll re-assign him to another job.

That wouldn't surprise me either. For all the crap Hart has got over the last couple days (deservedly based on the Honduras game) I still think that over the last three years with the group of players he had he has done a good job. Obviously not good enough, but good enough to warrant him continuing to play a role in the future of Canadian soccer, just not with the men's national team.

Before the Honduras game I stated I wanted Hart to stay as the MNT coach even if we lost, but after 8-1 that's not an option. Hart did a good job getting our boys to play well and out of our inexperienced coaches Hart was hands down the best. I wonder if he can get a gig in a pro league ala Frank Yalop?

Toronto might be looking for new manager in the off-season. So I wouldn't be surprise if Hart leaves CSA to join TFC. Not sure how fans would react to Hart though. I am sure hiring a coach after losing 8-1 game is going to be hard to accept in fans POV.
