john tv
I would like to suggest that since many of you are in town to consider to go to the Hall Of Fame and view all the current displays including a great replica of the Voyageurs Cup.My recommendation would be Friday morning around 11 or Saturday for those that are still in town.In conjunction with this suggestion I also would like to recommend that those from other Provinces bring a Provincial flag which would look great at the march from Gossip to the stadium. I also would like to recommend that we set a precise time for that march and ensure that all that are inside Gossip will be made aware of the march when it is to start. I have no idea how many will be from out of town, but it seems quite a few. I would like to hear back in relation to the suggested time and date to visit the hall. John, I am sorry I have not get back to you. I still don't have a working phone. I need to buy a new one today, but waiting on a Galaxy S3 to be in stock at Wind. Going to try this afternoon. Most people I spoke with from out of town are playing at Lamport at 2, and coming in sometime earlier in the day.
john tv
The game is at 2 pm.So to visit the Hall at 11am,spent around 30 minutes at the most that will get you to Lamport in ample time.
MapleLeaf
Really sorry for my ignorance as this will be my first march. Looked up Gossip online and seems a bit classy. Is there a patio or a section marked off? Looking through an older thread I saw hamburgers and beer were served? Thank you for the clarification, it was my buddy who told me it is a nice restaurant and not a good place to pre-drink. I am newer to the GTA moved from Victoria, BC. Olympique_de_Marseille
Really sorry for my ignorance as this will be my first march. Looked up Gossip online and seems a bit classy. It usually is classy. However, they sort of make the transformation to casual pub because we are such good business. There is a defined patio section. JamboAl
I wouldn't mind a visit to the Hall of Fame. However, when I googled it, found out it is in Vaughan which is a non starter for those out-of-towners (like me) who won't have a car.

I'm not going out to Vaughan by public transit on a Satuday. Friday I get in by Greyhound at 4:30pm, so I'm going to head right towards Gossip. It's the best place to be, period. They are doubling the bar tenders for us this time. Also there is a self imposed, five beer minimum to keep the lines moving. It's not an overly fancy location at all, it has a great patio and is close to the stadium and full of soccer lunatics.
theaub
I certainly found it to be solid last time outside of the beer line issue which seems to be fixed. The pizza was pretty solid too.

Screw that. We will have the supporters banner there to sign, march to the stadium, and hopefully get the draw prizes running this time. It was just too busy last time and I had too many tickets to distribute.
Sam
In conjunction with this suggestion I also would like to recommend that those from other Provinces bring a Provincial flag which would look great at the march from Gossip to the stadium. Hmm.... I think me bringing a Quebec flag to the game might exude a slightly different message. I think I'll stick to my Canada flag.

I think I'll stick to my Canada flag. No, it shouldn't. And if people interpret it in such a way, they are being silly. If you can put a Saskatchewan flag up, you can put a Québec flag up. It doesn't even have to be a provincial flag. It could be a city flag. If I owned one, I'd bring a Franco-Columbian flag. As long as it is a flag that is from a place within Canada, I say be proud of your part of our vast country and wave it. However, DO NOT wave THIS FLAG lol. The ideal situation would be to have one from every province. Though I don't think that is going to happen. Would be cool in the march though. Would be cool in the march though. If I was coming, I'd have a Newfoundland flag covered. Sadly, I have 2 basketball games and a 1/2 shift at work to cover. If we make the HEX, I'll be happy to help make this happen.

Redcoatsforever
Same from NS...maybe even an Acadian flag. Have to coach 3 games this weekend though...Hopefully in the HEX! If anyone is going to be passing through London, Ontario during the day on gameday, listen closely (or rather just read this post): I collect flags of the places that I travel, so I have every provincial flag from Ontario eastward. Admittedly, some are smaller than others, such as Newfounland, Labrador, PEI, Acadia, and the tiniest is the Republican flag from Newfoundland. I also have an Ontario flag. I'd be happy to dig them out for you to borrow, so long as I get them back at a later date. This concludes our message.
