tyler453
Don't know too much about the Cuban team, but for those interested here it is. Boy, they called quite a few attackers... Keegan
Uhhhh a foreign based player on Cuba? That's a first no? This guy hasn't played for Cuba since 2005 and decides to come back for a meaningless game, strange.

CD Aguila is garbage anyways so I don't think we really have to worry much about him On paper, their whole team is garbage compared to ours. I'm sure second-tier Sweden is on par if not better than the Cuban league.
Levi Oakey
I also don't see the elder Colome, who is one of their more offensive threats. We really need to crush these guys.

Garbage players don't play for results in Honduras and Panama... put it this way, they did better than our last two trips to those places . For all we know the next Galindo, Alonso or Sebrango is in this team.
Olympique_de_Marseille
Only foreign player is Yakiel Perez of CD Aguila. What is your source for that roster? Perez did not play against us in Cuba hasn't played against Panama or Honduras and Wikipedia says he defected in 2005. Has he "refected"?
El Hombre
Other than Yakiel, that's the exact same 23 man roster that we played against in Cuba. So much for them worrying about players defecting. Never really thought that was a consideration for them.
Olympique_de_Marseille
Other than Yakiel, that's the exact same 23 man roster that we played against in Cuba. Except last time we faced a: Reisandry FERNANDEZ (in the starting 11) & a Sander FERNANDEZ (on the bench) this list only has a Reysander Fernández (it's like a hybrid spelling of the two Fernandez(es) on the June match roster). Sorry tyler453, I declare your roster dubious. Source please.

This is an internet forum where speculation and discussion is the best way to kill a Friday afternoon, not the editorial bureau of the Washington post. Dude is tryna post a roster. tyler453
Wow, mistake on my part. I guess I should have added that I got it from wikipedia, number one (all that aside, any roster that I've looked at on wiki before has been accurate (though still I know it's not 100% credible all the time)), but what I did forget to check was the date. I just saw that it was for the games against Canada and Panama, not on June 8th and 12th lol. When official confirmation of the roster comes out I'll post it. El Hombre
Something like a roster was posted on the 18th on something that looks like a Cuban FA Facebook page.
Alex
If that's legit it lists players born between 89 and 94. Some of them do match the players listed on Wikipedia. But if that's the team then they have left all veterans at home.
rob.notenboom
Has anyone found a definitive website/answer for this? I'm surprised that the Cuban roster isn't widely available and (at least) on the CONCACAF website ... although I suppose this shouldn't surprise me at all as the CONCACAF website is crap. El Hombre
I've been looking for a couple days and there is nothing out there. I read on the comments for a blog that the team is likely to be very similar to what we faced in June and they are working very hard to make sure they get a win at some point over the next two games. Remember though: that was a comment on a blog post put through Google translate.

xabuep2
According to the article, the Cuban group came to Toronto without two key forwards, Marcel Hernandez, who did not make the trip due to injury and the young striker Yaudel Lahera holder in the last two presentations, recovering from a stroke and can not open in the lineup holder. Cubans play with 3 debutants Macias defender, striker Eviel Cordoves and midfielder Maikel Chang. The article says Cuba tried to recover the ball in midfield, and to halt the advance of Canadians with Beto, Sunday and Colome. It also indicates that try to play on the counterattack relying on speed of Adonis and Ruslan and the good shoot of Linares. In my opinion Cuba does not come with the best roster. jpg75
From the bottom of the article, probable starting lineup: GK: Odelín Molina DEF: José Dayron Macías, Joel Colomé, Jorge Clavelo, Sander Fernández D-MID: Beto, Domingo, Colomé, A-MID: Ruslán Batista and Adonis Ramos FWD: Roberto Linares Most of these players were subs in our first encounter and a few weren't on the roster. Joel Colome is the only starter left over, possibly Fernandez if it is Resaindry instead of Sander (two Fernandez whose first names are weirdly possible to intermix) though Reisandry is a MF and Sander had a high number and sat on the subs bench would be in keeping with this being a Cuban "B" team.
