Not sure if this is flown under some people's radar. There are some new names there.

Canada announces m20 camp

Posted on 4 September 2012 in Men's U-20 Team

Canada's men's U-20 team has selected a 20-player roster for an eight-day camp with international matches against Trinidad and Tobago. The Canadian team will train in Florida, USA where it will meet its CONCACAF rival for a pair of matches on 9 and 11 September 2012. The eight-day camp runs 5-12 September.

This marks coach Dasovic's second project for 1993-born players, with an eye towards next year's biennial CONCACAF & FIFA competitions. Canada will compete in the 2013 CONCACAF Men's Under-20 Championship from 18 February to 3 March in Mexico. Four teams from the 12-team tournament will qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013.

In between matches against Trinidad and Tobago, Canada is scheduled to have six training sessions during the course of the camp.

Here's what google has told me about Dollery:

http://www.crawleyobserver.co.uk/sport/crawley-town-fc/crawley-duo-pen-professional-deals-1-3768717

CRAWLEY Town youngsters John Dollery and Jonte Smith have signed professional contracts with the club.

They are first products to come out of the Reds’ centre of excellence which was established when Crawley joined the Football League.

John, 18 from Haywards Heath, has played much of the season at right back, and lists Brighton and Leeds among his former clubs, while Jonte, 17, followed his dream to become a professional footballer when he arrived from Bermuda. He has scored a number of eye catching goals, netting 25 times as the Reds finished ninth in the Youth Alliance League.

Under-18s skipper John said: “I love to get forward from right back and I know that’s what the first-team full backs at this club are encouraged to do. Hopefully David Hunt will take me under his wing and if I work hard I can break into the side in the second half of next season.”

Jonte, whose dad Clay played for Bermuda in the 2007 cricket World Cup, added: “My parents took a risk allowing me to come over here with my Mum to chase my dream. They have been so supportive and it’s a wonderful opportunity for me.

“My aim is to keep working hard at improving my game and hopefully at some stage next season I will have done enough to get some games in the first team.”

Good find El Hombre, this camp definitely flew under the radar...

Will find out more about some of the names listed abroad that are not in the MOACA, but I do know that Gomes is no longer with Vitoria Setubal and has signed with 4th tier side Sousense.

Dollery listed with the 1st team:

http://www.crawleytownfc.com/team/player-profile/index.aspx?playerid=492378&tcmuri=275326

Made some appearances during pre-season...they are a tiny club and he is one of 7 or 8 defenders.

Mauro Eustáquio is now with SC Pombal who play in the Portuguese III division (4th tier). He subbed on in the 75th minute of their first game this weekend.

They are a small club but have big backers and have really been on the rise the past few years. Lost 1-0 at Manchester United as non league club in the 5th round of the FA cup two years ago. And in the past two years they have gone straight from the conference to league 1.

Dare I say it, but it looks like a pretty damn good team to have in camp.

Progression at this time compared to where we were 7-8 years ago is noticable.

Yeah, especially with the number of players that were missed this time around. The last camp we had July 1st had the following guys who aren't there now:

Ben McKendry

Daniel Stanese

Skylar Thomas

Jonathan Lao

Keven Aleman

Shadrack Mmunga

Ben Fisk

And I think Doneil Henry will still be eligible too.

We should be able to put together a pretty solid team next February.

Yes, and Omari Morris should be in the mix as well. Saw him a few times this summer since i live not too far from the new academy training and home pitch for league play. He is very lively player

We could probably put 2 camps of 18 players together and both would sound impressive. Gardner, Vukovic, Crepeau, Irving, Makubuya ......

Few of the guys playing with Uruguay... Golden generation? Too early to say and a lot can change in the future... but wow this looks positive.

"Montreal Impact: Quillan Roberts, Stephen Almeida*, Alain Sargeant*, Adrian Cann, Tyler Pasher*, Oscar Cordon (Nicholas Lindsay 64), Aaron Maund, Matt Stinson, Eric Avila (KeithMakubya 86), Sergio Camargo (Dylan Sacramento* 76), Quincy Amarikwa

Substitutes Not Used: None"

TFC is going to be pissed when they realise the Impact have stolen that many of their first team and academy players. :P
