DJT
Guidelines for this thread In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for August 31 - September 6, 2012. If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. madmonte
Bad news for Simeon as Norwich got Tottenham striker Harry Kane on loan. Looks like Jackson is as proven or more so than Kane is...not sure I'd be TOO worried yet. After all, he's competed a bit with Morison for the starting role, and frankly Kane hadn't done half of what Morison, even, had in his career going into last season. It's a good analogy because both have footballing background in Millwall.
trueviking
i would say he is considerably less proven than jackson.....he's a 19 year old with 23 games in the championship (admittedly with 8 goals) as his entire resume....
Obinna
Bad news for Simeon as Norwich got Tottenham striker Harry Kane on loan. Chris Martin is probably the one who has to worry.
Addona
REB on in the 47th minute of a 1-0 game in B.2, and his team scored 2 goals in the next 10 minutes. I wasn't watching, but did REB have a hand in either of the goals? How did he play?

jonovision
REB on in the 47th minute of a 1-0 game in B.2, and his team scored 2 goals in the next 10 minutes. I wasn't watching, but did REB have a hand in either of the goals? How did he play? Not directly, according to the summary on Kicker. But good to see him getting minutes. Incroyable
Jackson subbed off in the 73rd minute as Norwich trail 1-0 to Spurs. Not a bad run out for Jackson certainly didn't look at all out of place. Hope Hart takes notice and gives him the start against Panama.

villus
I noticed Hoilett didn't get on the pitch in QPR's loss to Man City. or is he still not Canadian? Suprised Hughes did'nt at least bring him off the bench, seems like he would have been a great impact sub especially when they were down and had both Andy Johnson and Zamora playing up front. Saw Norwich's game, Jackson did'nt look bad, he got out muscled a few times but was lively in the box and created a few chances with his solid runs. Hes a conundrum, not skilled enough to play out wide and not strong enough to play as a striker, hes definitely a tweener, I hope he can improve in both areas and be serviceable for both positions.
