I am an American originally from Texas living in Mississauga, wife is Canadian and we moved to Canada recently. I am a novice soccer fan, following the US team mostly. Now that I'm in Canada I've decided to follow Canada more closely, my father in law is a huge soccer fan (he was a 1992 Canadian Olympian) and he's got me up to speed on how well the Men's team has done thus far in WC qualifying. That said, I'll be cheering for Canada in every game they play except vs. the US (I could never bring myself to cheer against my country of birth).
