madmonte
On his playing opportunity in the MLS! The article below notes that three Quebec born players were on the pitch at the same time, for the first time in the MLS http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/news/2012/07/match-report-impact-loses-3-0-houston-dynamo
Admin
That's great. The only thing that made the TFC vs Liverpool game interesting was the second half with all the academy kids. Canadian kids getting to play! Imagine that!

Sam
Congrats to Ouimette, this is the kind of player who is a direct result of Canadian pro team academies that are starting to pop up more and more often.

Free kick
Hainault for Houston. Ok. Yes, of course. I thought he meant that it was three quebec born players on the pitch for the same team (Montreal)

Grizzly
I liked him in the pre-season training games but as happy as I am to see another Canadian on the pitch Ouimette was absolutely terrible last night. I don't understand why Brovsky did not come on for the injured Valentin. I have been critical of Brovsky in the past but he is the most improved player on the team this year and was great the last two games. Ouimette lost his man on the third goal and also fell down earlier creating the Houston two man break that led to Thomas' save of the year. He was bailed out several other times by his fellow defenders. I hope he gets another chance but there is not sugar coating for this one, he was absolute sh-it last night. It was a terrible game probably the worst of the season other than the last two games against TFC. What a poorly coached game as well, Marsh could have just mailed the three points to Houston and saved us the pain of watching this game. I understand that players are tired but if we are going to start the game without Bernier and Mapp we may as well not show up at all.

Kind of bad luck, but at the same time, combined with the lost mark later on that's not a good start.

Macksam
That's too bad about his performance. However, it should be viewed as a learning experience if anything.
forster01
Watching him play vs OL, he has looked quite sharp, i think he has a great future. He is 19 right? If so he has great awareness for his age.
