Bernier may give us more depth at mid. Before I'd consider moving an LB into midfield (I'd push Morgan there before De Jong just my two cents), I'd move an LB to RB (like Klukowski has already done for us) and move Edgar back to CB to pair McKenna. Just to get our best four defenders out there. Nothing against guys like Hainault...he may be better than Klukowski or Morgan or whoever IS to replace. In fact, I'm pretty fine with the defensive lineup we used the last couple of matches honestly. Why tinker when we've allowed 2 goals in the last like, 8 WCQ competitions?

Hainault has been fantastic in MLS over the past two years and an automatic starter with one of the best teams in the league. Plus he has been very good with Canada over the past few years, especially where it counted in these last three clean sheets. If Hainault is fit come September and October and still starting for Houston I would say there is almost no chance he doesn't start those matches.

Yeah and still young enough where he's going to be in his prime for the NEXT WCQ yet, which is nice!

Huh? He's 26 right now, I'm not sure how much more "in his prime" he'll ever be. I certainly don't expect him to hit his prime at 30 for the next cycle of WCQ. Sure he may still be there, but most likely not at the same level he is at right now.

Disagree Sam, unless he has a serious injury he'll be a better player in 4 years time. Most defenders peak between 28 and 32.

I meant still in his prime. I consider prime to be mid 20s to early 30s.

Maybe it's slightly different for a defender, but for most players their prime tends to be about 25-28ish. Sure maybe Hainault will be at the same level come 2016, I just don't see him being better (just as I was writing this I kinda realize that McKenna became a better defender with age, albeit a worse more seldom used striker) .

If Hart is down to calling up MLS reserve players he must have really had difficulty getting players released from their clubs for this one.

Well, he called Piette last time who had no pro experience whatsoever. And Canada is short of left-sided attacking players as well.

Not debating the merit of calling up Teibert, just saying that he hasn't been on Hart's radar at all for the senior team and if he is getting a call up in the middle of WCQ Hart must be having to go pretty far down on his depth chart.

I am not gonna rule out the "someone is playing with wiki" theory, looks like they also listed Stinson as playing with frankfurt.

Also, Misiewicz called as well?
