masster
Ben McKendry at UNM, Brody Huitema at Duke, Daniel Stanese at UFI. My question was really about players that aren't tied to an MLS academy. Are there any guys to look for next year like Welshman (or maybe even Haber) that haven't really been part of the Canadian soccer scene that we should watch out for next year? youllneverwalkalone
Not a single Canuck drafted in the supplemental. What a load of ****. Caps take 6 players, including three guys who may or may not be able to actually run again. Yet no Flo Liu or Darren Jones. Lame.

madmonte
Not a single Canuck drafted in the supplemental. What a load of ****. Caps take 6 players, including three guys who may or may not be able to actually run again. Yet no Flo Liu or Darren Jones. Lame. Not only that, but some of the players that might have been selected in the supplemental weren't available, because they were selected in the main draft, like Beckie, which is actually even MORE positive. JohnnyBlueNose
I posted this in the Caps thread as well... but youllneverwalkalone I totally agree with you how intriguing it is Flo Liu never got a chance with Whitecaps.. doesn't look like a bad player to me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scWwGny944U

I just an reluctant to speak about other kids that I am not connected to, just in case the information is bad. I have heard with some certainty that TFC Academy's Mark Wadid is headed to Penn State however. There will be many more announcements coming soon, as signing day was today. If I hear any, I will pass them on.

DigzTFC
There could be more Canadians. I based it off of top the 25 schools and some known Canadian content schools. I went by hometown only. I am sure the draft will point out some closet Canadians. maccaliam
I do t know what your criteria is for the list, but Ahinga Selemani is at university of michigan. He has apparently attended an 17 camp with us but does seem to be looking to play for the states. Appears to be quite a good prospect. Hopefully the CSA is still in touch. http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/ahinga_selemani_900717.html Here's why I think he's eligible for us: http://ussda.demosphere.com/teams/60852305/47187460-60852393/34535193.html http://elitesoccerreport.wordpress.com/2012/11/20/michigan-state-lands-top-prospect/

youllneverwalkalone
Top Drawer Soccer ranking of upperclassmen is out: http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college/upperclassmentop100/?genderId=m&periodId=24&seasonId=2014&nopage=0 Cyle Larin at #4, (Spencer Richey at #18), Jay Chapman at #21, Ben McKendry at #37. This probably the most Canadians I've seen ranked at this stage, but still surprised not to see Huitema, Duncan, Camargo, Halis, and Nanco. All had great freshman seasons. Frankly, I'm also a little surprised Declan Rodriguez, Jordan Murrell, Skylar Thomas and Greg Ranjitsingh can't crack this thing. I guess their schools aren't followed too closely. Edit: Not too mention Awuah and Mark Anthony Gonzalez...
Keegan
Unless you play for Akron and score a goal per game you're not going to be a Canadian and #1 on that list. Remember Daniel Haber and his ridiculous scoring rate that was tops in NCAA? I think they had him at 97(!!). I'm really surprised to see Jay Chapman that high up. This is a really good group of Canadians in NCAA this season.
