TheKottonmouthed1555362307
Being Ukrainian. I would love it if he came to the 'Caps. He'd be an instant hit, and an amazing goal threat in the MLS. Though I just don't see it happening, he has already accomplished everything in his wildest dreams in the world of football. He's already in the wind down retirement faze and he decided already to do that by staying home in the Ukraine and I applaud him for it, he should stay there and be happy at home playing football in front of fans who see him as a living god. Keano
I read somewhere that he's already turned down an offer from the Impact.
Lord Bob
Well, he played against Canada and Vancouver hates Canadians so a good fit there.

Sounds to me he wants to do this for his American wife and kids. He could play a season or two in MLS and then perhaps his final season back with Kiev as a final farewell. Redcoatsforever
If it's for his American wife and kids, he won't be coming to a Canadian club.

Oranje
Pretty sure Sharms said that he fell out of love with football and only played these past couple years so he wouldn’t lose his spot in Ukraine’s Euro squad. Wouldn’t be surprised if he hangs up the boots after the tournament is done.
Sam Brown
Bringing Shevchenko to Vancouver would be difficult. We already need to free up/buy an international slot for Barry Robson. So now we would need an additional one to accomodate Shevchenko. On top of that ownership would need to shell out the cash to buy a 3rd DP slot. On top of that, we already have Hassli and Camilo on the bench. Wouldn't make much sense.
