Vic
The final three will likely be: 2000 Gold Cup 2003 Women's World Cup 1986 World Cup Regarding #7 and 9, a question would be how is a couple of women's CONCACAF titles that the Americans weren't at and beating 22nd ranked Mexican teams (we're about 20-1 against) above the U17's championship beating and eliminating the #1 American women from their only international tournament ever in the history of women's soccer? http://www.concacaf.com/page/WUnder17s/VideosDetail/0,,12813~1998623,00.html Also kind of odd that the only top moment of the past 100 years older than 25 years is #10, and half are since 2000. 1957 1998 1994 2010 2007 1984 2002 2000 2003 1986
Lord Bob
I'm frankly pleased the 2002 U-20 WWC got as high as it did. We can quibble about the positions and, certainly, the CSA's recentism is a bit nuts (you know they'd never celebrate the 108-year-old Olympic gold medal while they're telling us about how Canadian soccer is 100 years old this month) but at least some attention is being paid. This definitely seems like more of a nostalgia trip than a historical exercise, though.
