CanadianSoccerFan
In collaboration with the Ligue de football professionnel (France) I remember they played the French Supercup in Montreal a few years ago and now this. Clearly Ligue 1 wants to promote their league in Quebec but are they succeeding? Does Ligue 1 have a following in Quebec? Or do Quebec soccer fans just stick to the top leagues? As a Montrealer I do see enough Marseilles, Lyon, PSG and some smaller French club jerseys around and we do have apparently around 30,000 French ex-pats as well as lots of Morocan and Algerian immigrants too. (many of there national team players for those countries play in Ligue 1) But EPL, Liga, Serie A do have many followers too.
