UM02 will be viewing the Impact's first MLS game against the Vancouver Whitecaps this Saturday at Cafe Frappe: http://www.barstlaurentfrappe.com/contact.htm The event will begin at 5 while the game starts at 6. As always anyone else interested in watching the game is welcome to join us at Frappe. There will also be a draw for prizes which include a Nevio Pizzolito Impact jersey, a seat on the bus for the away trip in New York and a ticket for the March 17th match.

Cafe Frappe has undergone some improvements since last year and has several new televisions and a new larger main screen and projector. Everything is now in high definition, a big change from our days watching internet feeds there. The beer prices for this match will also be excellent with Boreale Blond or Rousse at $14 a pitcher and the fine Belgian beer Leffe at $16.50 a pitcher. As always since Frappe does not sell food, you can bring in whatever food you like from home or the surrounding restaurants such as Schwartz's and Coco Rico.

We are expecting a lot of people (close to 100 have already signed up on Facebook) so it should be a great atmosphere.

Edit: The Carte 132 will not be available until the next game so I removed the information about it.

Yes it is! We are a new supporter group that sit at the bottom of section 127 (at Saputo).

You can go to our website to find out more about us. Will you be coming to McLean's on Saturday? It would be a great chance to meet the gang.

We aren't exactly the same as the Ultras, but we do intend to be vocal during games, to sing, etc. The biggest difference is that we host tailgates before many of the home games.

Hope to see you soon!

Well considering the first game should have been at home and if not possible at least somewhere within driving distance neither myself nor many of the other fans felt very motivated to take several days off work and spend $1000 to travel to Vancouver to see the match. Probably could not have afforded it anyway but given the message of, "Welcome to MLS! By the way your first match is 5000 km away" I really gave no consideration to going at all.

Congrats Montreal, I will be cheering on the impact in every game EXCEPT when they play my boys in red, at which point you will all be poofter bastard cheaters who should go **** your mothers and eat Poutine.

Rest of the time I got your back though! :)

I'm lucky enough to live here and see the 1st game. But for me to fly out to Montreal for a game would be tough, but I am thinking about it for this year.

I'll cheer for you, seems there are a few Impact fans around town.

ALLEZ IMPACT!!!!
