Furth--Bochum highlights.. looked like Occean scored at 3:40 with a backheel but wasn't credited?! I dunno. He doesn't act like it was him. Well, what's rather interesting is Bochum's jersey .. if you know what I mean. <wink>

Wasn't really a backheel but more of a deflection. The announcers say it hits Occean but was credited to the shooter. Not quite sure I agree with that since the keeper probably would have had it if not for the deflection but it does not look like an intended redirection by Occean, it just happened to hit him. However, if the same happened at the other end an own goal would be called on the player who deflected it so not sure why Occean did not get credit for the goal here.

Radzinski played in his first game with Waasland-Beveren in a 2-0 win. He started and played 73 minutes. He linked up well with his Lierse striking partner Jurgen Cavens and he even struck one on the crossbar. Waasland is well in the fight for a place in the promotion playoff.

Do you know when and why Radz left Lierse? I missed that move.

His contract with Lierse ended and he had a problem with one of their players. Afterwards, some Belgian D2 clubs were interested in signing him but his salary demands were too high. And who knows, it might have also been a reason why he left Lierse. He has the level for D1 but Waasland is a good fit for him right now.

Julian Uccello 11 goals in 3 games so far this pre-season with Minnesota's NASL outfit.

According to his Twtter statuses over the last week he is loving his time so far in North America.

Any idea who the opposition was? Checked the Stars website and didn't see any news...

It was in house games with mixture of first team and trialist. He of course is on trial the coach is there for sure thisncoming season. Hoping that julian is what he is looking for. He could score 7 more on his last day which may not have any importance in the days he was there but the coach is the one and

hopefully Julian is what he needs to win it a second time

Thanks BigBird. Just to get a better idea of how dominant he has been, what were the final scores of these in-house games?

Mozzi Gyorio set up the first 2 goals for KC in their 4-1 win over the US Men's U17 today. Good for him, it's looking like he is impressing.. Vermes said so himself after their 1-1 draw vs. Montreal and against. Vancouver he came on after all 3 goals were scored.

What's the connection between Italy and Minnesota, if any? Gino Mauro is also still there, I think.

None really, maybe just a bit of luck, a door that opens here in the N/A is a door to the future in the N/A and right now its only door, a trial that was available thru some references of connection between friends of friends.

And yes I know Gino is there and close to Julian while his time there but not sure of his status with the team nothing said to me thru Julian.
