LarsHirsch_fan
We'll probably get highlights from the CSA after the game, but considering it's a closed doors friendly that will likely be all. OK Thanks Sam.
El Hombre
B1, B2, B3...can I get a B4 anyone? Good to see him back into the fold. I don't see him ever being a mainstay for Canada but it's nice to have options. That's a spectacularly ridiculous thing to say. You realize he is only 21 right? A sampling of where other players were at when they were around the same age: Simeon Jackson - Playing for Gillingham who just got relegated to League Two. Paul Stalteri - Just joined Werder Bremen Reserves Josh Simpson - Playing PDL prior to being picked up by Millwall Tosaint Ricketts - Playing for University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Olivier Occean - Playing in PDL for the Vermont Voltage Issey Nakajima-Farran - Playing for Alibirex Niigata in the Singaporean league. El Hombre
Reported that the actual roster won't be posted until next Thursday. Must be having trouble filling the squad to announce this late. Unless they are stalling until JDG2 is cleared to play. Rarely are lineups released this early by the CSA. It's generally done on the Thursday or Friday prior to the team gathering which fits perfectly with releasing it late next week. At least that's how I remember it being done. TheKottonmouthed1555362307
I still hold faith in Straith forcing himself onto the starting XI in years to come. Defenders usually take a few years longer to mature into being defenders to be relied upon. He's young, and has all the tools to succeed he just needs seasoning. He still has a good 4-5 years before you'd expect a CB to be at his peak level. There's plenty of time for Straith to come around, and with Canada the doors are always open to earn a spot. An uncalled for slur by Nolando on that one.

BearcatSA
My experience here (and over many years) is that you never say never about a younger player or any player, for that matter, in our set up. We're very much a squad of role players and as such somebody could possibly step in and do job not unlike what George Pakos did for Waiters those many moons ago. Straith is definitely still on a significant learning curve so I still have high hopes for him. I'm really curious to see how Pacheco's call up goes. I still have a hunch that DeRo (another go-to guy) will be arriving on the scene, if he is over his niggling injuries at camp.

I'd love to put together a viewing party for this one but it might be a little tough considering the 1130am kick off. Instead I'm going to stay home and watch the game in my pajamas! tarnado1555362291
there has to be a few considering the lack of options Hart has to choose from in Europe. Wouldn't be surprised if DeRo, Dunfield and Jazic are called to make up the numbers.
