Aussie A-League

Issey Nakajima-Farran started and played 64 minutes in midfield for Brisbane Roar who lost 2-1 to Melbourne. That's two losses in a row now...I guess all good things come to an end.

Cambuur 4 : 1 Veendam (Marello)

FC Oss 3 : 1 Telstar (Ornoch)

Marello got his 1st start in a 5-1 loss and was subbed out after 70 minutes. He got the assist on his team's goal. Seems like he was playing on the right side. Highlights here:

Nice cross on the goal and looked good in the other passing play he was involved in. Also all of Cambur's goals and attacks seemed to come on the opposite side from him while Veendam was always going up his side.

DeJong goes '90 as Augsburg upsets Moenchengadbach 1-0. Great to see him work his way back to starters minutes so quickly!

McKenna stays on bench as Koln beats Freiburg 4-0.

Jackson comes on in 85th minute as Norwich City beats Newcastle 4-2. His main competition for minutes these days, Grant Holt, scores 2 more.

Edgar goes 90 again as Burnley lose 1-0 to Portsmouth, snapping a 3 game winning streak.

Iain Hume back from injury, goes on in 46th minute as PNE tie Stevenage 0-0.

Peters nowhere to be seen as AFC Bournemouth beat Huddersfield 1-0.

Haber goes 90 as 4th place St. Johnstone lose 3-0 to 3rd place Motherwell.
